‘Tis the season for a rewatch of the Netflix holiday film #JingleJangle! #ProductionDesigner Gavin Bocquet chose a #RoscoSoftDrop over a green screen due to the large dance numbers in the film. The SoftDrop allowed the camera dollies to travel freely during expansive dance numbers without the worry of any breaks in the set. Thanks to the valuable floor space afforded by the SoftDrop, there is no shortage of singing, dancing, and holiday magic in this flick!

For #InternationalProductionDesignWeek 2025, we attended the opening of the PD-REN inaugural conference, Scene and Unseen: The Invisible Art of Production Design.

The event opened with a screening of Darren Aronofsky’s The Fountain, designed by James Chinlund, followed by a conversation with Jamie Lapsley and Sarah Mursal about Chinlund’s work and career across film, fashion, and spatial design.

Great to see so many in the #ProductionDesign community come together to celebrate the craft!
