SoftDrops were used to deliver stunning, realistic cityscape views right outside the window, day or night. So convincing, you’d never know it was a backdrop.

@fernandoarguellesasc was one of the first #Cinematographers to use #RoscoSoftDrop shortly after we launched the product, and he was enthusiastic to use it again in 2021 on the post-apocalyptic horror series #FearTheWalkingDead. The set was full-circle, so the filmmakers needed a background that could envelop the set and enable them to shoot at any angle. The perfect solution? Two SoftDrops - one showing a red sky and the other a yellow sky with clouds - that covered nearly 200 degrees of the set. Swipe to see both SoftDrops in use!

@fernandoarguellesasc fue uno de los primeros #DirectoresDeFotografía en usar #RoscoSoftDrop poco después de que lanzamos el producto, y estaba entusiasmado por usarlo nuevamente en 2021 en la serie de terror postapocalíptico #FearTheWalkingDead. El set era circular, por lo que los cineastas necesitaban un fondo que pudiera envolver todo el escenario y permitirles filmar desde cualquier ángulo. ¿La solución perfecta? Dos SoftDrops: uno con un cielo rojo y otro con un cielo amarillo con nubes, que cubrían casi 200 grados del set. ¡Desliza para ver ambos SoftDrops en uso!
